ATTENTION BRACKET RACERS:
As was announced at last year's 2009 Drivers Meeting, we would not be having a Drivers Meeting in 2010, unless there were major changes to be addressed. The only significant change to this year's program is the switch to AHRA sanctioning, and the AHRA Reunion event. AHRA is quickly getting up to speed, and it would be impossible to have a representative available to attend a meeting this year. The following are the only programs affected at this point. There will not be a:
1) Bracket Finals program this season
2) Super Series Contingency
3) Divisional (Bracket Finals/World) Championship
We will continue to run our bracket program as we have in the past, with 19 Points Bracket events & 15 Pro Comp events scheduled, and a 2010 Season Championship. Entry fees and class designations will be posted in the Drivers Handbook. Existing licenses and chassis certifications of other sanctioning bodies will be accepted by the AHRA, until further notice. The Toronto Motorsports Park 2010 Drivers Handbook will be posted on our site in a few days, and the AHRA Rulebook is already available on-line at www.ahradragracing.com. Any other questions, please e-mail Neale Armstrong neale@speed7racing.com and, as necessary, a frequently asked question (FAQ) sheet will be posted on-line to address these issues.
